Formerly known as De Nieuwe Verhuurmakelaar, I’ve been working under a new name and with a broader focus since 2025: in addition to rentals, I now also manage the sale of properties in Amsterdam and the surrounding area. After years of renting out my own apartments in Amsterdam and Amstelveen through rental agents, I started my own agency a few years ago because I felt there was a better way. Introduction
I’m Irene, founder of Het Stadshuis, born and raised in the city centre of Amsterdam. I know the city inside and out, and I love the city. I’ve also worked abroad, and I still love to travel, which I have done extensively. Thanks to my international experience, I understand the challenges of moving to a new city and finding your way around the institutions and the daily foreign customs. I am somewhat of a pleaser, so I enjoy helping expats to find their way around.
